Casino: Casino: Silverton Casino opens in 2020 (ABC News) Casino: Golden Nugget Casino opens to the public in 2020 in Newcastle article Casino owner Steve Jones says he wants to bring the Golden Nuggets Casino to the Murray River.
The casino will be the second casino in NSW, with a casino and a host of food, entertainment and hospitality facilities already in place.
“We’re building on that, which is what we’ve been building up to, which we think is the key,” he said.
“I think we’ve got a lot of great people on board, the people we’ve worked with, who are really passionate about this.”
They’re excited about this project and they’re ready to go to work.
“Mr Jones says the development has a good mix of development and the Murray’s.”
It’s not just a one-off, it’s part of the larger strategy and we’ve made that decision to do that,” he told the ABC.”
And we’ve just got to go into it, build it and put the money where it’s needed.
“This is going to be a major part of our strategy for the Murray river.
We have a huge pool of money to spend on it.”
Golden Nugget Resort Casino (GNS) has a long history in Australia.
It opened in the late 1980s and early 90s as the Goldrush Casino.
But it is now a standalone operation with a new host of staff and facilities.
Mr Jones said the GNS would provide the “right mix of experience, talent and quality” and be “a real asset” to the local community.
“That’s a long time to build a casino in the Murray Valley,” he added.
“But we are committed to building this as we know how and with the right people.”GNS chief executive Chris MacNeil says the project is on track to open by 2020.
“The plan is to be opening in 2020,” he explained.
“There are a lot more people to work with in the GNA and they have the experience, the talent and the facilities to go and work here.”
In the end, the casino is the most important part of that.
“The Murray River Casino and Hotel is currently the world’s busiest casino with nearly 6 million people visiting the casino each year.”
A lot of people will want to come to the river and there’s a lot to do,” Mr MacNeil said.
